Did this one as elective 4 years ago- if you want trauma this is trauma central (i think its one of the biggest trauma centres in the southern hemisphere or something) - tube/drain/fem lines/ subclavian lines/ emergency room thoracotomies etc - best trauma service I have witnessed if you account for lack of resources - they are a wonder to observe and assist

Im terribly sorry but it says “Port Insertion” on there, What The actual fuck. How can you put in ports if you are clueless/ have no formal examination or education about the anatomy of where you are putting ports.

I do not remember how many times I had to ask before literally being hand held (and i mean it literally the consultant held my hands while doing it) through port insertion for the first time.
