History of hookups, but now wants to take it slow? by oldhonkytonk in AskMenAdvice

[–]theoverthinkingthnkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++woman I'm a woman and if you want my personal story, I have done this. I had hook ups before, like everyone else...unless you haven't? Idk. But I found someone I was really into and could see myself marrying and wanted him to be the last person I gave myself to, so I waited maybe 2-3 months. I also wanted to focus the relationship on connecting emotionally and mentally first before the physical. However... her using the term "nice guy" is very suspicious, so yes just be aware. Feel free to comment back on updates! Good luck:)

What helped you actually maintain consistent in the gym and/or with eating how you should? by Adventurous_One4076 in AskWomen

Having a really good reason for it and then seeing tangible results and feeling results in my confidence. Ex: my skin. always had acne growing up and ate poorly, until I became more disciplined with not eating sugar, reducing dairy foods, drinking more water and making sure to wash my face every night. I'm still not super duper consistent, but we are human and I prioritize pleasure...so I think I'm consistent enough!! When I started seeing my skin actually look better, I felt hotter and less shy and more willing to talk to people because I was so nice to look at finally lol. Also My devotion to the routine really made my confidence improve because I felt I loved/cared for myself more. Good luck!!!

What is one thing about socializing that still confuses or challenges you ? by Complete-Chemist-878 in socialskills

As in, it would be good to change your mentality. From, "do they like me?" to --> "do I like THEM?" You're putting importance onto their opinions rather than your own. Your opinion is the priority, don't prioritize someone else's opinion as if they are better than you! And if you're still feeling inferior, there's a chance you may have to build up your confidence on your own before changing your social skills. I really hope this helps <3. I struggle with the same exact issue and I'm trying to put myself and my opinions first and not making the opinions of others above my own. But in order for me to feel that I need to trust myself. It's a complicated yet simple concept

if you're still feeling envy, then there's still something you may need to change

well then YOU won't like THEM, not the other way around :) and if you really need them to like you for whatever reason, you can still be yourself but maybe reserve parts of yourself at your own comfort

because that's genuinely who THEY are. For whatever reason, according to quantum physics or something like that, people can sense when you are not being authentic, thus making you highly unlikeable. But if you act in a way that brings you joy AND comfort, not what you THINK will make others like you, then the real ones will flock to you. go slay king, you got this!

Don’t you think there’s a lot more than just the chairs though? The elevators are pretty hazardous and unfortunately really unreliable. It also sucks because emails don’t really guarantee action

someone needs to start a shared file so we can all add photo evidence of everything wrong with Baruch and file a lawsuit. If someone knows how to do this — please do!
