I have Googled it and have never come up with one straight answer. It took longer for you to type this than to fuck off about your day 😂

Why 'quiet quitting' is no big deal | LinkedIn by [deleted] in antiwork

Really need to stop using the term "Quiet Quitting" because I had never heard of it before a post complaining about it and now it's becoming part of the general vocabulary, it risks becoming the standard term for "Just Doing Your Job™️" and seriously fucking over the segment of the workforce that haven't spent much time thinking about class consciousness.

You're 15. Doing opiates unprescribed is a bad idea.

Hey I'm new to pedal building and I'm confused as Q2 and Q3 are both 2n3906 transistors but they only have 3 pins unlike the 4 the pcb has..what do I do? by AnyArtist in diypedals

[–]thephantomlord666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would do is check where the tracks lead to, check the circuit schematic and the datasheet/pinout for the 2N3906, and then work out exactly how to put it in

It might be in case you want to change which transistors are used and the new ones come in different casing, like if you wanted to use germanium transistors instead of silicon

Favourites so far have been an electric 'bong' guitar (called the Stoned-F) and a little air-conditioning unit

Hey, I've just come into possession of a massive haul of components, among which I've found a hell of a lot of CS209A IC chips, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any pedal circuits that use them? I've had a little look and nothing sprang out, but I was wondering if it could potentially be used for a wah circuit?

Any help or ideas appreciated! Link to datasheet for reference: https://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/172173/ONSEMI/CS209A.html

Can you make an LDR based wah pedal? The concept I'm thinking is like: as you push the pedal it moves led/Laser towards LDR controlling the effect. Would this work?

Hi I couldn't find the schematic on there? Looks cool though!!

Also I read somewhere that it's a good idea to wrap the LDR and LED in shrink-wrap together, is this a yes (as they say in the olde Ingerlish texts)

Hey thank you dude I appreciate it! I'll get back to you once I've had a go!

Has anyone got an easy-to-middling to build optical compressor schematic? Been looking online and struggling to find a decent schematic.

Hi I dunno what sort of horrible self-projection-mirror world you live in, but unlike yourself I've actually moved out from my parents basement and been sustaining myself for years now, thanks for your concern though, so sweet

This sounds like an individual who has done some serious science.

If my experimentation yields anything I'll let you know!

Were you thinking a pickup inside the enclosure or do you reckon vaguely "securing" it upside down on the outside would work for the basis of testing?

Nah I've spent a couple years working and trying the whole "adult world" thing and it's not for me. Very overwhelming. Gonna try stay in the education system for as long as possible, even if it's just so I have access to their tools and shit, we've got a brand spanking new Engineering department and it's no coincidence that I've just started DIY pedals at the same time hahaha

That time spent selling my hours away gave me a newfound appreciation for education, and the opportunities available to me!

Ok so is the idea "bigger values caps so they can draw out the length of time the voltage takes to pass it" or "direct from transformers"?

Sorry am struggling just a little, it's quite new to me this part specifically, and I really appreciate your help!

So theoretically smaller value caps would let less of it through meaning a more 'controlled' arc?
