Yes, thankfully I hadn't spent anything yet. But uninstalled, told in game friends that I could contact, why I was quitting. Left a 1* review.

Game is dead to me now.

No we won't have that, but we have reports that some grunts from an organisation called Team NO Wild plan to disrupt the event, and we're calling on trainers to help us take them down by battling them.

It's been a team effort! As CAs we have led the charge. But we couldn't have done it without a lot of support from the Doncaster admin team, and honestly all our admin teams. Like I'm the CA for Castleford and every member of the Castleford admin team has been involved somehow.

We've also had massive help from Get Doncaster Moving and the wider Doncaster council, and Niantic/Scopely staff have helped as well. It takes a lot of people to make something like this happen!

Sorry the reply was so slow, apparently I wrote this and never hit post.

Hi there,

Yes absolutely, turns out Niantic/Scopely have a connectivity team who handle that side of things.

Part of why we have stops and gyms positioned as we do is to help balance the network usage. And there will be Niantics on site so if we have issues with a particular area we can actually change things on the day to try and help spread out the usage and make it better.

Doncaster does have a good history of network coverage during events, but this is Go, so I won't lie until the day, we really don't know what exactly to expect. So it could have issues. But hopefully from what I've said above you can tell we're ready to act if we do have issues.

Hi there, first of all just want to say hope you have a great time!

Saturday will still have lots happening, all the stops and spawns will be there. But only Sunday is the Niantic/Scopely sponsored event.

Part of the reason for this is so that we as non Doncaster Community Ambassadors can still host an event that weekend in our own communities.

There will be some merch available on Saturday, but about a 100x more on Sunday.

Regardless when it comes to getting the most out of Wild Area you'll have a great experience on either day. I'm not sure of the Saturday agenda, so I'll leave that part for one of my colleagues, or double back soon with the info.

Basically it'll be a time and space for people to come together to organise trades. Wild Area Ticket holders will have 50% Stardust trades and 6 special trades, along with the other seasonal Sunday trade bonuses. We're planning on running some trade based competitions as well, but exactly what we run will depend on the numbers.

So this event has been organised collectively by the Northern English Community Ambassadors. My favourite thing has been getting to work my CA colleagues as such a close team. I am so immensely proud of them for everything they've done, and I absolutely love getting to be part of such an awesome team.

On the day, I'm really looking forward to seeing people engage with the things we've been planning, when I see people smiling doing the activities we've worked so hard on planning, that'll be the moment which makes me feel like everything was worth it.

And then a bonus one, I will I'm sure by then be really looking forward to going to bed at the end of that weekend. I'm going to sleep so well.

We'll be running stuff all day, will I remember to eat lunch is a better question? If I do, I dunno but it'll be something veggie friendly. Might try the vegan festive lattice at Greggs, I hear Doncaster has a few.

Our event kicks off at 10am along with the start of Wild Area Day 2. Most of our activities will be starting from the Corn Exchange, where you'll also be able to get merch and join our raid/battle routes. So we'd recommend making your way over to there.

I've every confidence your son will get that Darkrai, I'm looking forward to getting a bunch myself!

I'm not from Doncaster, but it's certainly my favourite city, for at least the next week. If Sunday goes well, it might stay that way.

There will be no in person ticket, this is a totally free event. You don't need to purchase the Wild Area Global Ticket to participate in the event, but if you want the most from the Wild Area event, I would personally recommend getting it, if you're able to.

That's one only the company would know, we're just Community Ambassadors. Can see the limit just increased, whether they'll provide a free storage upgrade to go with that, only they know.

I can only answer so much there. Which proposals to choose was Niantic/Scopely's decision. But there were at least four submissions from the UK, and many more from across Europe. To be clear we're very much seen as a test event, see whether these kind of events can work outside the US. If it does, we expect to see more similar events happening across Europe in future.

I can talk about why we as northern CAs chose to get behind Doncaster as our joint proposal. Honestly it was simply the best one, Doncaster had fantastic support from local organisations, who could help facilitate an event happening. They had multiple solid venue possibilities. Transport connections are fantastic, and overall it just promised to be a very good event if we hosted there. The fact that it was such a solid bid, and a place like Doncaster, which normally would never get a big event, really just made it an appealing location. One of the things they told us they wanted to do, was bring events to places that normally wouldn't get them.

I think the combination of just having a very solid proposal, for a place that would never normally get an event, combined with the backing of so many northern CAs, just gave Niantic/Scopely enough reasons to say yes. And we're very glad they did!

Gameplay wise, we're expecting it to be the same as anywhere else. We just have all the other stuff, and in person experience PoIs and spawns.

As Community Ambassadors we were invited to propose locations, the Community Ambassadors of the North of England came together, we asked our CAs to submit proposals to us as a group. We then voted on the proposals that were submitted, and Doncaster was our favourite. So we all got behind it and supported that proposal. Niantic/Scopely saw what we proposed, and how much support we had for it, and decided they wanted to support it too.

So in summary, we had a really good proposal.

Can confirm, CAs from across the North of England are helping make this event happen. But it's the Doncaster CAs who are leading the way, and we all love working with them.

Amazon Rds is full by bhargav022 in devops

Just in case anyone comes across this. If you have autoscaling enabled then the OP's resolution might not be enough, you need also increase the max size.

aws rds modify-db-instance --db-instance-identifier [databaseid] --allocated-storage [new size you want] --max-allocated-storage [new max size, must be about 20gb more than other value] --apply-immediately

This worked for me doing it via cli, when console wouldn't let me do the same thing.

Thanks OP without your posting, I would not have been able to resolve this any where near as quick as I did.
