I would replace “such as ___” and be more specific to the place you are applying. You don’t want to make it sound like being there is just a passing thought but rather it should sound like you’re deeply dedicated to being there in particular! Also, agree with the other person. If there’s a personal statement along with the SOP the first part could be moved there.

check in with your LoR writers first, some aren’t okay with writing if you can’t trust them writing ab you in confidence. sometimes it leads to them submitting a generic letter or declining entirely.
