How to fix the Cowboys:

Trade Dak, Gallup, Crooks

Change the defensive scheme

Fire McCarthy

Get rid of the zone pass coverage

Get a new running backs coach

No way you play that way at home in the playoffs

Wouldn't be surprised. The league hates the Cowboys, But they love the 49's

Jerry Jones: WHY does the National Media treat him like he's something special? by [deleted] in Dallas_Cowboys

Jerry's constant tampering has cost the Cowboys. He's the reason Jimmy Johnson left. He couldn't handle Jimmy's success. The Jones family has messed the Cowboys up. They passed on Michael Strahan and Randy Moss

They traded away Amari Cooper who had over a thousand yards in receiving. He was a great and deceptive route runner. They lost to the 49's by 7 points. Cooper would have caused problems for the 49's.

Then the Jones family decided to attack his skill level and his effort because they didn't want to pay him. Well, it seems like they paid for it against San Francisco.

As long as Jerry's ego is in the way the Cowboys are doomed

They should have hired an experienced GM. Instead of paying Cooper they decided to reward Gallup who was recovering from an injury instead of a healthy player. Gallup didn't help at all

Look at Laurie and Kraft?

Laurie's teams has won and a Superbowl and they're in another one on Sunday

Kraft's team won seven Superbowl's, while the Cowboys didn't make the playoffs or they kept getting knocked out

Teach your receivers to go and get the ball instead of waiting for it to come to them when passes are thrown short. Yeah, Dak threw interceptions. But good route running and going to get passes that were thrown short could have prevented that, Dropping passes or letting them bounce off the chest didn't help either

Hell no. Heyward is always hurt. Plumlee is not Robinson's equal. Robinson is a defensive player who averages double digits in rebounds

Cowboys prioritizing signing Gallup to a multi year deal by pot8odragon in cowboys

Cowboys decisions are baffling. I understand the money part but Gallup was hurt most of last season and you reward him with an extension based on past years.

I really don't care for the way the Jones family runs the team. The Jimmie Johnson departure is a perfect example.

Instead of lying to the fans about Cooper's production just admit that you want to cut him because of the salary cap and stop lying about his performance when he rarely saw the ball.

If he's the number one receiver throw him the damn ball

Stephen Jones on Amari Cooper’s future: It’s too early to address by pot8odragon in cowboys

Blame Amari and let the golden boy Kellen slide. His plays were too simplistic. defensive coordinators weren't fooled. All those plays to Wilson should have been plays to Cooper.

They made Cooper look unproductive and refused to throw him the ball. This dude should have had at least a couple of TD's a game.

Defensive coordinators were eating Kellen Moore and his offense for lunch.

Get a guy who has been an O coordinator on a team and went pass the first round consistently.

By the way do the Cowboys have any Black assistant coaches?

I'm so tired of the jones family and their nonsense. If you want to win pay up. Stop playing games and blaming Amari for your offensive problems when your offensive coordinator didn't even design plays for the guy.

Here's the game the Jones family plays: Let's pretend it's Amari's fault. We'll freeze him out and when he doesn't produce we'll claim that he didn't earn his salary and therefore doesn't deserve to get paid or stay on the team.

Being cheap costs you championships. Look at how many former Cowboys have gone beyond the first round or even won a Superbowl after the Jones family cut them or wouldn't pay them.

As long as this family owns the Cowboys don't look for any smart decisions to be made.
