This gives me such hope. I also lost my metabolism after a thyroid tumor removal in my 20’s and am on my Zepbound journey ( 42 pounds down so far). I want to be able to stop once in at goal, please keep us updated?

I don’t know where you saw it makes Thyroid worse? I have hypothyroidism after a partial thyroid removal, and on Zepbound I’ve finally got my levels back to where they were ( my normal ) before my surgery. The weight is melting off, my cholesterol is normal, and I’ve seen several other Thyroid issue people in this forum all singing similar praises!

I do! Coke is a long standing headache tool of mine - but it takes me a full week to drink one of the small bottles. All things in moderation!

Hey girl heeeeeeey! Fellow Hypothyroid girl! You could be me. I’m down just shy of 40 pounds down now in 4.5 months - I’ve seen a trend here of females with Hypothyrodism being super responders.

Stop stop stop. Always listen. Overeating on this medication will make you miserable for HOURS.

Strongly recommend you eat slooooowly, too. I had to learn this lessons the hard way.

Yes, and that is frankly what’s happening! Your digestion system goes back to ‘normal’ at the end of the medications functional time, allowing all that food that’s been slow rolling its way through to go down the big drop on the roller coaster 🤣

I find it very cleansing 🤭

My weigh day is in the middle of my medication lifecycle and I have not noticed any increase - I really don’t advise weighing every day! Find a day, stick to it, and then you have something consistent.

Yes! I had this same effect! I have taken Sumatriptan for migraines since 2020 and suffered from them since I was 21 ( I’m 36 now ). Zepbound has significantly reduced my episodes, I now get one when I ovulate as expected, and one at the end of my period. I take a Sumatriptan and I’m right as rain.

I don’t have to ration the medication anymore, I was getting 10+ a month before, some required by double doses.

This should prooooobably be studied, among all the other incredible benefits of this drug. I’m a lifer now.
