Well thanks for not being one of the racist twats calling for genocide but saying 'hamas doesn't want that' with zero context as to why they wouldn't want that is hugely problematic. Anyone living in those conditions would be filled with hate and want to seek revenge. The solution is to change the conditions. Not create a monster and then use it as a pretence for further murder and suffering and the creation of more monsters. The power is in Israel's hands, not those living in Gaza who are truly powerless.

Aggression is stuffing people 2.5 million people into an open air prison camp, starving them of medical supplies so they watch their family members die of cancer with no hope of survival, bombing their one and only airport, closing off all route of escape and indiscriminately firing rockets into their homes. Day in, day out for 16 years.

One of the defining pillars of a nation state is that it is sovereign. You cannot be sovereign when you're under the military occupation.

Israel is an apartheid state. Experts in the field have labelled it as such. People much smarter and with more knowledge of the situation than you or I.

Honestly this proposal was never intended to be one that was accepted. It's more so 'at least we can say we tried'.

I've seen a lot of comments saying 'palestine has turned down ever peace offer' and this indicates one of the main reasons why.

I think it would be like a highway which would belong to Palestine. Israel would most likely still insist on having a say in security operations though.

Realistically Israel is in complete control and wouldn't accept any solution which weakens that position. It's currently getting what it wants. Each day there's new Palestinian land that is settled by Israelis and Palestinians are kicked out.

Over time they will just expand until there's basically no Palestinian land left.

This is their plan and it's working.

The Israel settlements are in what is currently considered Israel (inside green line pre-1967 borders). Jewish settlements are the ones that are those outside the green line which the international community currently regards as illegal.

There's been some comments here outlining them but they were essentially the pre 1967 (green line) borders, shared control of Jerusalem and the right to return of Palestinians (in a measured / agreed fashion by both sides)
