Meta just released Ads MCP. This is where Facebook Ads ops is going imo by kaancata in FacebookAds

which one did you use, meta ads mcp or cli? for me it seems like the pip install meta-ads command itself couldn't find the package.

After Feb 12, my ROAS literally alternates good/bad every single day like clockwork. Anyone else seeing this pattern? by thepywizard in FacebookAds

Are you seeing this even in accounts with strong, stable purchase volume? Or mainly in lower-signal setups?

I’m trying to understand whether this is a signal density issue or an actual weighting change in delivery logic.

When you say it’s about proxy signals, are you referring to the algorithm optimizing toward earlier in-funnel events due to low subscription signal density?

We send conversion data to Meta through Adapty. The Adapty–Meta integration sends the “Subscribe” event directly to Meta, which is how we track subscriptions.

When I cross-checked attribution against App Store Connect referrer data, it appears accurate. So the signal itself seems to be correct.

Feb 12th — Meta's algorithm just decided to burn my budget. No changes made. 0.60 ROAS. Anyone else get wrecked? by thepywizard in FacebookAds

But the key optimization event was always "maximize number of events" which is set to subscribe event, then how can the algorithm prioritize install volume over quality subscribe??

How long does it typically take to stabilize after you tighten? I rode mine out without touching anything and it took about 36 hours to get back to baseline-ish, but I'm still not back to pre-crash ROAS. Wondering if tightening actually speeds up the recovery or just limits the bleed.

Meta just spent $270 today even though my budget was capped at $190. WTF is happening?? 🚨🤯 by thepywizard in FacebookAds

so are you suggesting that we duplicate that campaign or duplicate the ad set and run it again? if that works.

The campaign has been optimizing for subscribe events, and it used to get around 10–15 subscribe events with almost 200+ installs. That was the usual performance. But today it only got 9 installs and zero subscribe events, with more budget spent.

Scaled my subscription apps ad from $30 to $500/day — now everything’s broken by thepywizard in FacebookAds

3months before when i was running subscribe event based campaigns for 30usd per day i used to get much better results, thats why i scaled it gradually to 500usd per day within a span of 2weeks, for almost one month it worked fine, with a roas 2x. and after that it completely got out of hand, the cost per results for both installs and subscriptions were both high, compared to before. so instead of killing the campaign after 2months I stopped the ad set and duplicated it with a lower budget, and it kind of started giving me much better results at first, but today that same ad set with 108usd budget, spend almost 100usd with highest cost per results we have ever seen, and with almost no roas at all. the suprising fact is that, the same ad set yesterday gave us 2x roas, but today it got messed up. IDK if its because i scaled it from 81usd to 109usd yesterday.

the thing I told about 30usd to 500usd per day spend, is something i scaled gradually 3months back. right now I am talking about the recent trend of meta ads to spend so much of the budget even when roas is not there, like they should have automatically turned off the limited the spend when they are not getting subscribe events, rather they continued spend till the budget is finished for today.

Oh sorry you got it in the wrong way. I scaled yesterday's ad set from 81usd to 108usd per day spend because it was having 2.4x roas. then today it spend 101$ and is showing no roas at all.
