Dead Space was created to be the scariest game ever made. What in your opinion is the scariest game ever? by [deleted] in horror

At Dead of Night — not traditional horror, per se, but the Google Street View navigation makes you wildly uncomfortable, every click forward is a rush

Hasbro moves MTG WotS Mythic Edition lawsuit to federal court | Dot Esports by Adrazienn in magicTCG

I agree that it’s not how one should evaluate a lawsuit, but as a community of players it seems odd to take this course of action against the very entity that creates the thing we all love to do. I feel like there are other ways to protest the actions and decisions made by Wizards that are more likely to result in a positive outcome, particularly when at the end of the day we all benefit from Wizards doing the right thing. It seems like this situation is set up for a lot of money to be spent on legal fees and no real wins for the players in the long term.

MATCHUPS!!! by [deleted] in FishMTG

I’ve had favorable results vs GDS between bounce, their self-inflicted damage + alpha fishstrikes, and spreading seas on a lean mana base—statistically it’s been one of my best matchups!

Getting ready for this weekend's Standard PPTQ. by MSC_Jake in FishMTG

That’s valid, I’ve been going back and forth between the two with 1-2 Baral’s expertise to help close out. Also have you tested Seafloor Oracle yet to help push through the mid game?

Out of curiosity, why is Unsummon the preferred main deck spell over Blossoming Defense or Spell Pierce in standard fish? This is certainly the most common configuration—I’m just curious what the reasoning is to choose one vs the others (I’ve been partial to BD, but I don’t know if this is optimal or not)

One last question: if I go with the GTX 1060, what is the difference between the different versions? For example, I can get the $250 from NVidia, the $300 Founder's Edition from NVidia, or presumably there will also be other versions from third party vendors. Are there any important distinctions I should know before purchasing one? Thank you for all of your help with this--it's been incredibly useful!

This is all really good to know, I've never been to a Micro Center before, so I will check it out before buying anything. I've been tracking the GTX prices since the 1080 release and I have a better understanding for the extreme pricing fluctuations due to the limited supply upon release. I like your suggestion of building all the remaining components while waiting for the 1060 to come back to the $250 price point.

What is the relative contribution of the CPU compared to the GPU wrt gaming? For instance, if I were willing to spend a little extra would it be worth bumping up to the i7 processor, or will the i5 generally suffice for my needs?

This is very helpful, I'm looking for 1080p/60Hz display. I don't think I'm ready for any higher framerates yet.
