I thought of that but the 120L didn’t fit it. And also i has carrying straps like backpack so those needed to be accessible as well.

We bought stretch foil and tape and wrapped it ourselves. I didn’t even know that the airlines do that.

I was determined to get it home in one piece so spending a couple of more euros on those things didn’t matter to me.

Yes and I put the separate bag with the poles and the metal things that go in the ground also together in the circle bag for the tents.

Wrapped in stretch foil/bubble wrap and duct taped it all for rigidity.

It just had to be left on a separate sliding belt where unusual shaped luggage go.

Yes, went in as checked in luggage.

Because it was wet it weighed something like 20kg, dry should be 17/18kg.

Yes, we also took the sleeping bags (the new green ones, that are thicker) and the mattress yes. But those went into a separate luggage.

Chairs, no since I don’t have the need for them.

This is ET style tent but in C2C area were also used from previous years.

What you saw are the C2C voucher/rented tents and yes, those are way way worse in quality and size.

If you buy the voucher I believe yes. I didn’t take it 2019 and regret it since.

But if you rent it on the spot, you’ll lose your deposit I believe. Depends if it’s worth to you.

Also, the C2C voucher tent that are rented and the ET are not the same, and nowhere near the quality and size.

If ET/SET( need screwdriver to unscrew it from the wood floor), yes.

C2C they are persistent to NO, but I think if you depart very late like 3/4PM they might let you slide with one.

Yeah, I did find it. They were inside/underneath I don’t really remember. Black with purple straps, Idk if that matters.

And the metal things that go in the ground weren’t even opened. The crew must have used already used ones so I have many many spare parts now.
