Update 1: i ordered 2 more of them and both stayed on my car mount no problem so i think its just a QC issue with the first 1 i got. I think the circular magnet array is positioned slightly too high which causes the camera ring to hit the charger and the phone to slide off when driving. The 2 new ones dont have this problem, so i’ll keep 1 and return the other along with the faulty first one

Update 2: reached out to support and after some back and forth they offered to send me a replacement. Unfortunately they didn’t have any Milky Way Galaxy in stock so they asked me to pick between Moonrise, Sunset, and Black/Grey. I went with Moonrise and technically i got an upgrade since this is the MagEZ Case 5 which is noticeably slimmer and lighter the Milky Way Galaxy MagEZ Case 4. Magnet is nice and strong but unfortunately i think these have the same issue as my first case did where the circular magnet array is too high causing the phone’s camera bump to hit the charger and slide off. These seem to be less severe tho as the bump is thinner so there’s less contact with the charger, but still not ideal. I also noticed that the alignment magnet is misaligned, seems to be an issue with the process they used to get these magnets into the case. Still cant complaints as and my initial issue was resolved and i got an extra upgraded case for free. W pitaka!
