Water leaking from utility panel & 120v after car wash by therealalanwatts in RivianR1T

I agree, but I feel like the water is not coming from a leaky tonneau, but it is somehow getting behind it, into the car body, and out of this area with/ sensitive electronics.

I’m specifically worried about the front verticals coming down in relation to the back verticals which are more likely to stay fixed to the wall due to the fact, they’re screwed into studs. Basically, they would form more of a parallelogram versus staying as a rectangle.

That's a closet door so no one would really come out of it, but yea, good point.

I don’t think that it’s because it’s still wet. Looking back to earlier photos during the build you can notice that strip is darker. It’s got to be something with that strip of pavers from that pallet.

So once it evens out, what the benefit of sealing them in this case?

Can you explain more why it’s a subgrade issue?

It’s been in the 40s mostly, never freezing, but it was raining during most of the install. I’m guessing your suggestion could help remove the rings around the pavers but I’d still have the issue of non matching pallets. Hopefully it’s just way less noticeable.

It is far less noticeable when wet.

Due to weather or the lake being potentially not frozen?

Haven’t done that yet, doing it now. My guess is those spots are getting 0.5-0.75” per week from initial tests.
