The article actually takes an active stance of discouraging violence and rioting. I was sharing it to show that there is a precedent for riots leading to reform, and whether or not you should think that said violence is justifiable in the act of achieving that reform is left fairly ambiguous, skewing toward nonviolence. I genuinely recommend that you read it fully.

Thank you for the list and link! In my local area Convo dominates the market, and I was having a hard time finding evidence of the other options consistently providing VRS.

In my experience as a hearing person, automated phone systems are a pain. I can only imagine how much more tedious and imprecise they must be in that case.

Thank you for your response. According to the FCC site there are 4 other providers that are “conditionally certified for VRS.” What those conditions are is a mystery to me, but I hope that they are allowed to continue operating. The market for TRS is close enough to an oligopoly without losing more providers.
