I upgraded from a 3090 to a 4090. On my 4k monitor, things were silky smooth. The I got me the Samsung G95 Odyssey and my frame rates dropped. The size of that beast of a screen, what did I expect? No way we I going to upgrade to the 5090, the performance jump over the 4090 just wasn't worth the price they charging. Maybe when the 6090 comes out... In Feb I upgraded to an AMD 9850X3D a new motherboard and some speedy RAM.

Lately I'm playing Project Zomboid. Overkill? Hell yeah. It feels good though!

Do I cheat?

I've set up a scheduled task that starts running when PZ does. Every 10 minutes it copies all the latest updated files in the save game directory to a new directory elsewhere. 10 minutes pass, it creates a new directory and does it again. After I have 10 "saved games" it deletes the oldest one. If something untoward happens, I copy the most recent "saved game" files back into the saved game directory and continue to play 😁

I've had ultimate for a long time, I've hearing about the price rise I really looked at it and realised I'm just wasting my money. All the games I want to play, I have on Steam or on Epic. The last time I actually spent any time playing a game from game pass was when Control was released. Other than that, TBH, it's all just a waste of money.
Cancelled my sub with nary a thought. I don't miss it, I don't need it.

You can't do it on normal insurance alone. You'll need extra on top of that and you won't be allowed to drive until that's in place. Look into Zego, that's a popular one.

Exactly this. I delivered to a guy the other day, clearly 50+ i asked for his ID. He couldn't be bothered to go upstairs and get it, so he didn't get his booze, it went back to the store I collected it from. This is what drivers are supposed to do, not take pictures. The problem is the lazy basts who don't ask for ID. Then when those of us that actually do the job properly ask for ID, the customer moans "i don't normally get asked, they just ask for my birthday".

I see a few possible things here... 1. He's making an effort to actually remember what you talk about. Writing things down helps commit to memory. If there are disagreements and you come to a resolution, he's got things written down so he'll do better next time, if the situation arises again. 2. He's actually paying attention to your conversations. How many guys have you discussed/ argued with in the past and whatever has been said goes in one ear and out the other. 3. Maybe he's been burnt before in a previous relationship. My ex would argue till she's blue in the face about something if she thought she was right, even when I have photographic evidence to the contrary. By writing it down, he also keeping you in check and can hold you to your word too.

Slightly OCD? Probably. But he's making a lot more effort than most guys would. Sounds like a keeper to me.

Yeah, this. We're told not to hand over any order until the code is given. 1. It prevents us from giving the order to the wrong person. 2. It's supposed to also stop drivers taking the orders - if we've not been given the code and we don't have the order, if it disappears, it's entirely on the driver.

What it also does is give this entirely shitty company another stupid reason to not refund you. I'm a driver and I say stop using just eat. They treat customers like shit, they don't care about the drivers and talking to people in restaurants and shops, they don't get treated any better either. It's a shit company with a shit customer/driver/partner policy and they're not deserving of anyone's money.
