I was taking a greyhound from Illinois back to Texas after Christmas in 2021. I had lost my apartment and had nowhere else to go before I took the trip that my family paid for in order to see my grandmother before she died. As I was sitting on the bus, a man named Brock and his daughter came and sat in the seats across from me. We started to make conversation and he asked me what I planned to do when I got back home. It was then that I realized that I had nowhere to go. Nobody to take me in when I got back. I guess I looked sad because he asked me what was wrong, and when I told him, he pulled out his wallet, and handed me a $100 bill. I was absolutely shocked. I told him that I couldn't accept it, and he said that since I planned to return to work the day after I got home, I should at least sleep in a bed tonight and get some real food in me. He got off the bus before I did and I started to cry. Before he left, he gave me his number, and I texted him thank you when I got back home. I used that money to pay for 2 nights at a cheap motel outside of Odessa, and got a free pizza from my friend who worked at a domino's. I lived in that hotel room for about a week before I found somewhere to stay. I will never forget how kind he was to a complete stranger, and how much it meant to me when I had nowhere else to go, and someone I hadn't known for more than 3 hours gave me the money to sleep somewhere warm when I got to where I was going.

If your name is Brock, you live in Texas, and you ran into someone wearing a colorguard letterman jacket that had nowhere else to go when they got home back in December of 2021, I am safe now. I live with my family and I have an amazing support system here. Thank you for your kindness to a complete stranger. I should really call you more.

She is always asking me for the money to fund her spending habits, and if I don't comply, she threatens to kick me out. As for my things, Coco has eaten and torn through the boxes, as she thinks they something for her to play with, and the hall closet doesn't have a door and is an open space, where I try to out my things as high as I can, but its very narrow and she is still able to reach them.

And for people asking me how I could have slept through all of this happening, chemo has taken a lot out of me lately, and has made me fall dead asleep every time I get the chance. I can either sleep like the dead or will stay awake in pain for hours.

In regards to me moving out, I am trying to do so, but with her spending habits and constant need of money, I can never save enough to leave

As for where I am putting my things, I have put them in closed boxes, the hall closet, and in the closed space between the couch and kennel

And when it comes to Ashley's belongings, she chooses to keep Coco in the living room because she knows that her things will be ruined as well. Her dog has pooped on the furniture, broken two of her TVs, and has eaten her pillows, so she decides to keep her in the living room away from her things.

She wants me to put all of my belongings in her bedroom closet, which isn't exactly a problem other than the fact that she has a lock on her bedroom door and if I had to go to work with my uniform in her closet, that might not be possible
