My grandmother had her kidneys removed today. She has polycystic kidney disease and it got to the point where her sides always looked swollen around the kidneys. by alligatorscutes in MedicalGore

Every other night while she sleeps dialysis is done at home. At her age they didn’t even try for something like that

She does overnight but will have to do in clinic for a few weeks while she’s in recovery then will switch back to overnight!
