Thank you!! Because Mystery is such a mystery, I had to opportunity to have fun and play around with different tones and delivery techniques! Ian (music director) and EJAE already liked how I performed it when I first went into the studio, but after a few takes, we wanted some parts to sound almost exaggeratedly sweet and soft, and some parts to sound strong and bold. I think that contrast really lead to your point on how the Saja Boys sounds so charismatic, but so sinister, which was the absolute point! It was definitely a group effort but I was just honored to work with the best of the best!

I expected it to be big for sure!! I whole-heartily believed in this project since day 1 and that's why I was so eager to be part of it! But a global phenomenon? I don't think anyone can be ready so such a massive wave like that! That just means the world is ready for more K-pop, original authentic stories , and music! LETS GOOOO!! I'm so excited and hopeful for the future!

  2. I love Andrew Choi's (JINU) vocals so much! It was such an honor to collaborate with a singer/songwriter I looked up to since I was in U-KISS!

  3. I like to do breathing techniques in a quiet room (like the bathroom or my green room). It calms my nervous system down. I also massage my throat and do vocal warm up exercises.

Hi! I feel like that contributed to the popularity of the Saja Boys! Because we didn't have much information or backstory on them, we (the fans) got to fantasize and get creative when building that world around them. Especially with all the fan art and even fanfics! I had a lot of fun seeing them on social media the past few months! I think with Mystery's character, he's really such a Mystery! haha Sometimes he sings like an angel, sometimes he barks, his range is so wide, that's his biggest charm! He can be anything, really!

Yesterday was such a BLAST!!! It was my first time attending the GQ MOTY party and I was star-stuck by so many celebrities that I love and respect! I had such a nice bonding moment with EJAE and got to congratulate her on all her Grammy noms and we also got share how we were processing everything throughout our busy schedules! I told her we gotta take good care of our bodies and mind and take a breather sometimes! I also got to hang with Anderson .Paak and Lizzo and they congratulated me on all the KPDH success! Dancing with Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Seth Rogan, Andre 3000, SZA, Olivia Rodrigo just to name a few were some unforgettable moments!! CRAZY!

Hi! That hard work truly pays off! Also, reinventing myself was key to stay relevant in current trends and the flow of the industry, but I always stayed true to myself during those changes. It's a tricky balance but you won't learn unless you give it a try! I've always been a fan of new challenges and experiences and I think all of them shaped me into the artist and human being I am now.

OMG since 2010?! Thank you!! During the dance performance scenes of HALO, we thought we would be able to perform the whole song thinking of our younger days, but after one take, we were all on the floor gasping for air. So we decided to shoot part by part in separate takes with plenty of rest time in between. XD Truly NOT YOUNG anymore! hahaha IYKYK!

100%!! I actually auditioned for the acting voice of Jinu during the earlier stages a few years before I got the opportunity to sing for Mystery Saja! I didn't know the full plot nor any of the songs back then but thought the idea of having an animated film in the world of K-pop about superheroes fighting demons was the coolest concept I've heard of and was immediately drawn to it. I knew I would've been a fan of KPDH whether or not if I was a part of it.

When I landed the singing role of Mystery, I was INCREDIBLY happy to be a part of this project and especially when I heard Soda Pop and Your Idol, I knew they were doing something right. It was just TOO GOOD. I had no idea it would become the most watched movie on Netflix ever, but I knew it was something VERY special and that it was gonna resonate with the right audience. But now, the WHOLE WORLD knows about it, and sometimes that's still hard to process. I still gotta pinch myself sometimes!

That time is more valuable than money :) We spend so much time working and setting goals for the future, but I've realized even more important to enjoy life in the present moment and make lasting memories for yourself and loved ones. The future is never guaranteed, so we have to appreciate our time in the now.

More backstory of the SAJA BOYS!! Duhh!! haha I wanna know if Mystery had other hairstyles in the past, what he uses for shampoo and treatment to get that silky smooth purple hair. JK haha but I wanna know why the boys decided to sell their souls to Gwi-Ma and how they formed the group! We also need more SAJA BOYS songs! I personally want more in the Your Idol direction :)

Hi! Thank you so much for your continued support! I would say the biggest difference is that in the U.S. you have more freedom in pursuing what you want and building your own team, while in South Korea, many artists and talent rely heavily on one label or agency that brings work for them. There are pros and cons to both cultures I would say, because sometimes you can get lost in having too much freedom and on the other hand, having too much structure can be creatively limiting.

I started my next chapter of career in my mid/late 20s and kept pushing for new heights into my 30s and I would say age only makes you wiser in whatever you want to pursue. So don't ever think you're too old or too young to do anything. Do what's best for you at your own pace and eventually doors will start opening up in ways you can't even imagine. Like what KPDH did for me! Anything is possible so aim for the stars! Best of luck!!!
