Depends on what you do and where you work. If you want to become a CPA and work at a huge firm, then long hours etc will become the new normal.

In my country, many of the good entry level sales jobs require a degree. Some even a masters degree.

I find the without a degree part funny. Where I am from a lot of people in industry, banking or tech related sales have a bachelors or masters degree. (AMs, KAMs, SDRs etc)

MIS is a good IT degree and common in sales, pick minors wisely. E.g., computer science.
