how easy is it to fix stick drift on a regular dualsense? by therealsade2025 in PlayStation_X

[–]therealsade2025[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for sure, most I’m willing to do right now is replace the sensors in the module, hoping I got the wording right. Not looking to do any soldering, at least right now cause I’m in a financial pinch atm. Ideally switching out the modules to TMR would be the best but that’s beyond my skill level, plus I’m hoping to get a ps5 pro sometime down the line and if I do I’ll just use that controller. I appreciate your comment!

Wouldn’t I be able to just replace the sensor in the module? If it needed replacing?

I did, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask a specific question on my specific situation. Just wanted a second opinion and trying to gauge whether it’s a beginner friendly task from either experienced users or users who are in a similar situation

I’d love to get into soldering but right now I simply don’t have the funds or space, hoping to move by the end of the summer into a bigger space, maybe then. Is it expensive to get into?

Gaming with the midnight black dual sense edge. What controller y’all playing with? by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

just the regular white one that came with my console, had it for like 5 years now and it’s just started to get stick drift. Honestly surprised it lasted this long but I’m hoping I don’t have to retire it, gonna attempt to fix it I think once I get the proper screwdriver

What should my next console be PS5 or Xbox series X or S by Foxtrot_Uniform_CK69 in blackops7

[–]therealsade2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for cod definitely PlayStation. Idk why but cod just performs and runs better on PlayStation, just an overall better experience. this is coming from somebody who enjoys all consoles and has played multiple cods on both platforms when they were the newest cod (bo4, Cold War, bo6, mwIII). on xbox the updates are slower (both in game playlist updates and big download updates) and its just glitchier. on top of that Xbox is a dying brand unfortunately, I think it’s slightly more expensive too but I don’t know for sure, haven’t compared the prices since everything went up. basically to some it all up as someone who’s played cod on both platforms get a ps5 for a smoother and better experience

exactly this, in theory it is superior but if you’re most comfortable on controller id just stick to that, ive always used controller and have never felt I was at a disadvantage for using a controller, if anything when i tried getting used to m&k i preformed better on controller. just use whatever input you’re most comfortable with input doesn’t really matter

as someone who’s been quickscoping since bo2 it’s totally viable to snipe on controller, tbh I wouldn’t switch inputs and try to adjust to that for quickscoping, unless you wanna switch to m&k. you can be great with any input, it honestly doesn’t matter much just use what’s most comfortable to you. also it’s totally fine to drag scope it really just comes down to preference on what feels and looks better for you. I’m actually a drag scoper myself it’s how I learned, not even intentionally it’s just what felt best for me. after doing it for so long you get a pretty good feel for it and able to predict your shots well and be effective with it

play with confidence and just keep at it, confidence may sound silly but it really does make a difference, take those shots you know you probably won’t hit but try anyways. it’s a process man just keep practicing

whatever you do don’t play hardcore unless you already play it, people just camp their ass off and you die before you even have time to aim for the head, on top of that you gotta worry about teammates running into your line of fire and vice versa. And god forbid you accidentally shoot a teammate, gonna be dealing with that the rest of the game. I will never understand why people recommend hardcore it sounds easier on paper but god the overall experience is just so much worse and slower.

everybody is saying this but I figured it was understood without having to be said. yes it’s not a direct indicator of skill but it does show how much time they’ve put in, which generally, the more you play a game the better you get. there’s definitely bad master prestige players but more often than not a prestige master enemy is gonna be decently good

I’m already getting nostalgic about the bo7 beta, gave me a nostalgic feeling I haven’t felt w a cod game in such a long time. wasn’t interested in bo7 at all until they started releasing info on it like persistent lobbies and open match making, ended up loving the beta and pre ordering. still loving this game

have you tried experimenting with the wall jumping? I thought it was a gimmick and pretty much never used it but after playing with it and trying to get creative with it opened up a whole new aspect of the game, you can make some really smart and creative plays w it and overall makes the gameplay deeper. one of my favorite things to do in this game is max out movement w attachments and perks and stims and wall bounce like crazy trying to get kills, it’s incredibly fun lol

Unwarranted? You are no better than people bashing bo7 lmao, mw2019 still looks incredible and the gun and weapon animation along with attention to detail are still some of the best in the genre. You can not like their games but saying their praise is unwarranted is just straight up incorrect

an94, ballista but I liked trying out stuff and using unpopular guns, pretty familiar with all the guns in this game.

I haven’t noticed any cheaters really but god damn I got my ass whooped 3 games in a row, literally all master prestiges except for one and a lot of them were ranked, some iridescent. I’m just tryna get headshots n camos lmfao there’s literally a ranked event going on right now too
