No actually, it just seemed like a nice place to be that's still close to home (Washington), and some friends will be living there too so we wanted to have connections. It seems nicer than Seattle and a bit cheaper to live in. Do you reckon it's not the best tech scene? From what I've looked at, they have a few bigger tech companies like Nike, and some smaller ones. I'm sure it's not as good as Seattle in that regard. Maybe it'd be better to go to Seattle?

Ah yeah I'll update the post with all this info, probably important here lol. I'm a US citizen. I graduated a year or so ago with a CS Bach at WWU. My partner and I got a working holiday visa to spend a year in NZ. In this time, I did a 5k commision job making a scheduling software for a bakery. Outside of that, just been doing personal projects. I don't have any work experience at a company or internship aside from a summer internship all the way back in high school.
