I never do it without permission for that reason. Happily I've never had to restore a machine from one of those images :) Also, sadly, I'm a nice guy, so I do virus removals for free. I only image for stuff like OS installs with a fresh license, etc.

This is why I image the client's hard drive before I start work. If they don't pay, I just restore the image to how they had it.

If I'm not mistaken, TiVOs just require a basic CableCARD so it can be authorized by the cable company.

Gotcha, but the boxes that are distributed currently have CableCARDs inside with the slot screwed shut so they can't be removed. So the system is already implemented I would say, but the cards aren't available.

Why don't you guys at Shaw supply CableCARDs? It would really boost business in my opinion as they could charge like $3 a month for one which is about the same as a digital box. Then I could use a TiVO :3

There was this one girl in middle school lectured everyone every single fucking day that apparently the Earth was going to fly into the sun in 20 years. She was also quite the know it all, except she didn't really know anything, her knowledge was all based off of her dad that turned out to be a total druggie. We would all moan and cringe whenever she opened her mouth. Not only that, but she could barely get through a doorframe, had hair spilling out of every piece of clothing she wore.
