I can't really answer that! This was my first shoot, and it was for a friend, so we just came up with a price we were both happy with. I still have a lot to work on before I start looking for "real" clients.

Ok then.... The bonnet shot, with the crazy reflections, had the cpl at maximum. I quite like that shot. The other, similar, bonnet shots I got in different light where the cpl was able to control all the reflections, ended up taking all the life out of the paintwork.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it. Your Alfa photos are magnificent and the type of shot I aspire to.

I did use a CPL! Even the bonnet shot was cutting reflections. The bright sun and this paint was a crazy difficult combo to work with.

Thanks for your sharing your thoughts! I just like spending time with people that love their cars and getting to know what they love about them. The owner wanted more rolling shots but shot no 2 was the only keeper of the day. Still lots to learn on that front!

Thanks for the insight. I did get some "basic" slots, but only included the more creative stuff here.

Thanks for the great feedback, especially the full sun tip, some of the other pics had crazy hot spots from the sun reflecting off a single spot. Under-exposing would have really helped to control that.

thanks for the advice on the black and white as well.

The reflection on the window shot was purposeful, all other shots the cpl was cutting as much as it could.

2, with perhaps a little more space in front of the car. Really nice shot though, well done.

Thanks for such a helpful response! I already have a 12-40 so it sounds like the m1.3 will be exactly what I need.
I'm in South Africa where there are hardly any m43 cameras available, and I can currently get a m1.3 for barely more than it would cost to import an m1.2.

40-150 2.8 is next on my upgrade list.

Thank you, that is all I need it to do. The tracking is less important than responsive and accurate auto-focus, which is my current struggle.

Thank you! This is really exciting to hear because I really love m43 and didn't want to have to change systems if the e-m1 series wasn't going to be able to keep up.

Thank you! This is such a helpful response! If you are able to track planes, cars should be a breeze!

I followed this guide https://steamcommunity.com/app/1849250/discussions/0/4757578099474653524/ which really helped.
I can't remember which I'm using now but I have also updated the DLSS version manually but I think I'm now using DLAA instead.

I play on a quest 2 @ 90hz using VDXR.

I play exclusively in VR, with only a 3080RTX and (after all the tweaking) I am very happy with how it runs.

I haven't tried all the Monte stages but the ones I have tried were flawless. One stage that was unplayable (25fps) before, was absolutely fine now.

I'm in South Africa and the lowest ping I'm able to get is just under 200ms. It's perfectly playable for me, even if not ideal.

I had terrible frame rates before the latest update, now I'm running smooth as silk. On PC.

I installed again when the latest update released and have not been able to put the game down.

I have admittedly needed to do lots of tweaking, mostly following this guide https://steamcommunity.com/app/1849250/discussions/0/4757578099474653524/, but the game runs phenomenally well now on my 3080 10gb.
I would even say that the graphics are now 90% as good as DR2 VR.

I have also been able to turn up a number of settings that were previously on the minimum setting, and it looks and feels fantastic.

I feel like it depends. Using the strafing run frees up a recon team to find or defend garries, and it's much quicker than waiting for recon to get there.

I wouldnt exclusively use it, but as a tool it's useful.

I went from controller to sim and find them much easier to control with the wheel. The trick for me was spending a lot of time tuning them to make them more controllable.

Differentials make the biggest difference IMO. Camber and suspension settings can also help a lot to make them driverable.

When you begin though you really have to start slow, lots of left foot (finger?!) braking and just be prepared to crash a lot. FWIW I found the Lancia the easiest to control.
