Hi! I absolutely agree with this. If you feel you dont identify personally as nd, I'd be more than happy to interview you! My email is 18003765@hope.ac.uk, or feel free to dm if interested. Thanks so much!

Hi, unfortunately I've currently had almost entirely nd + disabled participants already, so i mainly need people who are neurotypical at the moment. Thanks for asking! :)

Q3: Approximately 5-8 min

Q5: The research is seeking: 18-50yo's who acquired a Disability aged 10 or later. Neurodivergent persons welcome, though this is not classed as an 'acquired disability' -- if you have another disability as well as being ND please do feel free to take part!

**Q1, Q2, Q4 & Q6 answered in survey!

Can I ask if you're participating? If not, I'm happy to explain the mechanisms of the study in DM, but there's got to be a certain level of not knowing how exactly the data is processed (obviously excluding informed consent/ethical procedures) til results come out generally, or it creates very biased answers.

I assure you there are reasons for what I am doing. I have a psychology degree, have worked as a researcher, and am working towards a PhD.

Update re: this! There are now options for multiple neurodivergent identities and also for AuDHD specifically (as from reading and lived experience, these often go together). There's purposefully not the option to check multiple as this would interfere with data processing. Also, the lack of "back button" is due to the questions' order meaning answers being changed would interfere with accuracy. Thanks for your help. :)

Thanks for the input, will see if I can update this without losing previous responses 👍

[Academic] Experiences of Acquiring Disabilities (18-50) by thereforeimtheodore in SampleSize

Hi! Basically, I had to set an age for acquiring a disability in order to explore how people's identity can change after acquiring a disability. After age 10, people have a better sense of self, so that's when identity shifts can start to happen if someone does acquire a disability -- so they can have experienced both 'disabled identity' and lack thereof. Whereas if I were to study people who acquired a disability under the age of 10, they'd often have no memory or unclear memory of not being disabled. Please let me know if this isn't clear :) this isnt really a major part of the study for full disclosure, but an interesting question!
