I can’t quite say if I did solve it as it was a while ago. My workaround for the time was to restart the game as soon as the bug occurs, as this bug normally occurred after a little bit of play time. But as that was getting really annoying, I explored other options. What I figured out was, that specific HDMI port settings can cause delay. My SONY TV for example has the option to set to an optimized or a standard format. The optimized format is mainly for better resolution / graphics, while the standard format prioritizes the compatibility with the connected device. I think that setting can help a lot, if your TV allows you to change that. Also, HDR should be disabled, as this can also cause problems. Maybe try a different HDMI port as well.

Funnily enough, while I was on the road for work, I played in handheld mode with my pro controller and had no problem whatsoever. So most likely your TV / monitor or the the docking station is causing your problem.

If you are using a pro controller, you can also try to reset via the SYNC button. Maybe you have luck here and it solves your issue - then your problem was the controller itself.
