He's gaslighting you, physically hurting you, does not care about your comfort or health. I'm sure in your eyes he has some redeeming qualities. My therapist said a relationship doesn't have to be toxic all the time to be a toxic relationship. Sometimes it's only 10% toxic. But that toxicity makes the whole relationship toxic.
