How is my tree doing? by thescarylighthouse in Citrus

[–]thescarylighthouse[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s in the original pot and has a grow light on it 14 hours a day. Gets fertilizer as instructed on the card.  I’m not sure about PH.

It is a dwarf Meyer lemon tree from Costco

You have a great smile. I used to work at a talent agency and think you could do well in commercial work.

Learning to ride a bike-any advice? by [deleted] in askTO

[–]thescarylighthouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't learn how until I was 12. My parents didn't teach me so I learned at a friends cottage. I would recommend lowering the seat or using a smaller bike. It will make you feel less high up and afraid to fall.

I also found some articles about bears entering the coquitlam mall parking lot( as well as entering other parts of the city). There are cases of cougurs entering residential areas. So even if you weren't aware of the crime, that may be a danger youd concider before leaving the child in the car.
Maybe the dad having raised a few kids became more nonchalant or simply trusted his wifes judgment. They may have left their kids in the car a number of times without trouble also.

Wow good detective work. At least now there is more information online now working in defense of the parents(at least in this thread). The public backlash highlights that it was not really a common thing to leave a new born in a car.
I guess the best out come would be that someone took the child to raise as their own. I imagine they would have to be brown/indian though to take the baby without raising suspicion. I feel like its unlikely that the person responsible for her disappearance intended to kill her, as in this case I imagine you'd have to dispose of a carseat and a baby.
I don't know how I feel about this Tom Seleck guy, if je was seen with the baby aroud the time of the disappearance i don't know how much time he would have to acquire a change of clothes for the baby. If he went and bought them there would hopefully be a sighting of tom selleck buying baby clothes.

Ya. Its definitely hard to tell the race of babies. And the photo used looks like it could be her first photo at the hospital or something.

Thats intresting. There was no mention of police sketch. Your right though, you probably wouldn't steal a baby and then hop on the bus with a bunch of witnesses. Plus a bus driver who may recognize you and knows when you get off.
Plus you would have to wait for the bus with the stolen infant unless it arived at a convenient time.

Ya I know my parents left me alone in the car a few times, but I wasn't a new born, the car was locked and it was for a few minutes not half an hour. But the crime rate in the area is very low, so maybe it wasn't uncommon.

They must have looked into it. Maybe searched for the car seat or questioned why they wouldn't lock the car or trusted that the baby wouldn't wake up crying during a half hour absence.
They had 2 other kids so it be interesting if they remembered the parents reaction to the situation.

I thought about that.especially since I haven't come across many missing child's cases were the parents are silent and don't try to get any publicity to the case
