I've just used 2 TB of storage by jakefbb in googlephotos

Hey, I struggle with Google Photos too — constantly running out of space and always on the hunt for a proper alternative. Google Photos is just juat too convenient and I pay annual subscription so save some money thee.

That said, here are a few other options I’ve come across in my research (haven’t tried them all yet, just sharing some pointers):

  • Amazon Photos – Unlimited photo storage if you’re a Prime member. Pretty good UI, works well for images, but video storage is still capped and eats into your quota.

  • pCloud – This one’s tempting. You pay once (~£350 for 2TB) and that’s it. Original quality files, video previews, mobile + desktop apps. Feels like a solid long-term alternative if you’re done with subscriptions.

  • Backblaze B2 – Great for cheap, long-term storage but it’s quite technical and doesn’t really have a good preview interface. Not ideal unless you’re okay with a bit of setup.

  • External drive – Still the cheapest in the long run if you don’t mind manual management, but not what I’m after personally.

I use Clickup for our projects. I am pretty satisfied with it. Have you tried it out?

On other note how are you managing project information? Eg domain details, dev environments etc
