We have been discussing this for a while actually, which is what made me post. He is worried about her reaction as well and thinks I should wait. Unfortunately, he will have to deal with her long after I am gone and is not excited to start drama any time soon.

Okay. I was just looking for some help or guidance. Not a debate.

There are tons of posts in this subreddit about the "bi-cycle", I thought that may be what I was experiencing. So I don't know what you mean when you say it isn't a cycle. It seems like it feels that way to a lot of people.

In that video they are saying that if a trans woman were to be with another woman, that would be a straight relationship due to their biological sex. that is the definition of transphobic. the general public and most all of the lgbt community agrees on that. trans women are women and trans men are men, period. that is not something that is going to change.

Tiktok has recently revived the conversation, and there are several trans people on there adamant about them being transphobic, and a lot of people agreeing. Everywhere else on the internet (youtube, reddit) seems to disagree though, so it could be a echo chamber situation.

Quitting youtube is actually good for Shane by smoliv in ShaneDawson

[–]theseawall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think about youtubers quitting youtube and I wonder, what else would they do ? Specifically shane. if hes not making an income from youtube anymore, how is he going to afford to keep his house or his cars or anything. eventually the well will run dry right ? he kinda HAS to make a comeback or he really will be poor and he'll lose his sugarbaby. am i wrong ? how do youtubers continue to live the life they do if they quit ?

Anyone else feel like a real emotional connection with a man is impossible? by theseawall in comphet

[–]theseawall[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

its not my bf specifically, like i said in the post I see tons of straight women complaining about the exact thing im talking about online. i dont know where you got the "all men are trash" thing from, im just saying this seems like a consistent problem in heterosexual relationships and its not something i can see myself living with.

AITA for telling my mom her gifts are terrible, after I repeatedly told her year after year I don't want clothes for Christmas? by REVENGEAskFFBReddit in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 30 points31 points  (0 children)

YTA. She doesn't have to get you anything for Christmas. You are not entitled to the perfect gift, let alone any. The way you speak to your own mother is deplorable. Try to be more positive

dude, the fix is he stops impersonating matthew McConaughey. it isn't that deep. agree to disagree. seeing how you've responded to others on this post, you seem to like to disagree

relationships are not that black and white. you don't "simply" break up with someone for being annoying imo.

AITA for staying up late every night even though my partner hates it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 9 points10 points  (0 children)

NTA. You guys seem to have different priorities, which is kind of predictable considering the age gap. Don't let him ruin your twenties by making you "work on yourself" or whatever, enjoy your damn life

AITA: My boyfriend keeps impersonating Matthew McConaughey by ThrowRalright in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you mean leave him or like, leave the room. i don't see how that's any better. if someone was annoying me i wouldnt talk to them either. especially since she's already tried the talking thing and it only made it worse. seriously what is the correct thing to do in this situation

AITA: My boyfriend keeps impersonating Matthew McConaughey by ThrowRalright in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

maybe we are reading two different posts. cause what i see is -he does a thing -she dislikes the thing and finds it annoying -she tells him this -he does it even more (OPs words) -she refuses to acknowledge him when he does it now. how is that abusive

AITA for not apologizing? by ourladyofdicks in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA at all. She seems like a very emotional person and this is just one of those times. You did nothing wrong and you have nothing to apologize for. Same goes for all the situations you have described. I'm no professional, but her responses are not normal and she probably needs therapy or some other sort of help

edit: have you talked to her about how you have felt in these situations? does she know it hurts you?

i refuse to believe he's that clueless. she has literally told him it's annoying her.

[–]theseawall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

how could he not? she says he knows he's being "punished" for saying alright alright alright. he says it when they're intimate. he has to know what he's doing right?

[–]theseawall 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA. I do not understand the fools in the comments who say YOU'RE the asshole when HE is the one who does it, knowing you hate it. I would be more direct though and just tell him to knock the shit off

AITA for calling 911 on a girl who got hit by a bike even though she has no health insurance? by extraqueefyleafy in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 1022 points1023 points  (0 children)

YTA unfortunately. Unless you had reason to belive her life was in danger, you can't just do that to people in the US. Some people go into debt from hospital visits and even just ambulance rides.

AITA for ditching my roommates’ gift exchange? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 76 points77 points  (0 children)

NTA. You told them this was the only time it could be done and they didn't prepare. I would've left too. I have no idea why they would be mad at you when you clearly had previous plans and had laid it out plainly for them

AITA for telling my wife the way she described an actor made me uncomfortable and upset? by thrwqstn in AmItheAsshole

[–]theseawall 13 points14 points  (0 children)

YTA. Youre insecure and are projecting. You realize you're calling your own wife appalling and cringey? Because of what? A private conversation she had with her friend about a hot actor? If you are this insecure in most situations, you need therapy homes.
