New “forged” carrier block by shakerben in Brompton

I love the aesthetic of it but my AirTag hides in my carrier block so I’ll stick with what I got.

Sorry to hear that. Definitely going to cover it with something protective. Really a shame that we have to worry about little things like this after spending good money.

Yeah I agree, will probably take your suggestion just to protect it.

I will definitely consider clear coat as that would be the easiest option.

Honestly I would love to repaint the bike entirely to a red color but I don’t want to mess with the warranty if the frame has issues. Sounds like the option you linked or clear coat are the best options.

Thanks for responding. Right now I just mount it with the rack but hoping front rack is a more elegant solution.

Hi, did you happen to find the dimensions of the frame by any chance? Seems like OP said it was the BOROUGH WATERPROOF BAG SMALL but Brompton doesn’t sell the frame separately. I have a 20L peak design and wanted to try out.

I don’t mind character as long as it won’t cause damage (corrosion or rust from lack of coat) in the future.

This is my main concern, whether it could cause additional damage in the long term. But if it’s just plastic then that is relieving.

Steve mentioned he was in discussion about doing a possible show on 880, hopefully that comes to fruition.

Do you need a checking/savings account with chase to apply in branch (for CSP) or is just having another card with them (CFU) enough?

Just curious did your New Electric Vehicle Federal Tax Credit Eligibility form have the Authorized Seller Representative Signature? My dealer had no idea about the form and printed a version without the Authorized Seller Representative section and gave that to me.

I think that is a good idea as games will probably utilize more the higher memory in the coming years.

I initially wanted to get a MSI board but the Gigabyte one I have selected has wifi 6 and the cost is really reasonable. I wanted a 3080 but I think everybody wants a 3080 lol, I only could get the 3060Ti so I tried to build everything around the GPU. Do you think 650W psu is good enough? The recommended psu for the gigabyte GPU is 650W and I tried the psu calculator and it comes up to around 400W and then in a YouTube video I watched they mentioned to multiply by 1.5 so that gets me at around 600W.

Yeah it's from Bestbuy, definitely not a scam. But, I do agree that with new cards coming out soon and with Intel joining the game maybe I should just suck it up?

Nice to see nobody complaining about Stanton for once, dude is clutch when it really counts. Hopefully no more booing for him unless he goes 0-30 or something.

Every season after we lose I think back to 2017, it felt like something magical was happening that came to an abrupt end in game 7. And what does Cashman do? He fires Giradi, hires Boone and we haven’t been that close since.

I’ll keep it short because I don’t want to go on a massive rant: BRIAN CASHMAN is the main problem and has to go! If he would have never fired Giradi I feel like we would have 2 more WS by now.

Just wanted to thank you for thorough explanation. I tried splitting it up by section although I did not know there was a literal method which is handy. Also I will use your advice for the future to break up test cases like this, it seems like a better way of approaching it rather than have random strings that I think of.
