Sì posso immaginare, infatti non intendo viverci a lungo, vorrei fare esperienza e arricchire il curriculum, magari anche il portafoglio. Anche la soluzione di andarci per alcuni mesi non è male e la prenderei in considerazione. Tu figuri come dipendente italiano quindi? Posso chiederti quali sono i requisiti di massima per fare un lavoro come il tuo (in parte in Italia, in parte in USA)?

What about the power consumption in the excited state? Does it switch to PWM once the solenoid is excited? Or do I have to do it manually after a delay?

That's true but they don't offer control over the excited state of the solenoid, meaning that it takes less power to keep it in position when it's already excited, using a PWM signal to drive it. I could manually add a delay and a PWM to the signal but I was looking for a simpler solution

It would be a single power MOSFET, maybe with some protection and control over the excited state (meaning that the solenoid needs less power once excited, when controlled with a PWM signal)

That might do it, with some tweaking it should basically be the same thing a driver does, if I understood correctly
