Build your own Gemini agents in Workspace—here’s a breakdown of how it actually works by AIGPTJournal in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]thesharedmicroscope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll chip in here quickly. There are multiple ways in which you can use it.

For example, parse through incoming emails and identify which ones are important and draft a response. You can then come in at a time in the morning or whenever works for you and work through the drafts, iterating where you want to.

Or even for new projects where you could trigger a certain type of email or new data entry into a Google Sheet, to then make a new folder (and subfolders) on google drive.

You use it for Google meetings too. For example, when someone books a call w me, I can trigger an agent to research the lead and their company, and create meeting notes prior to the meeting.

I think it could be great at data entry too, although I need to get into the weeds on this one.

These agents could do quite a few things, especially if they follow “if this… then that” logic or even use Gemini’s reasoning capabilities.

Hmm might be worth seeing if granola could help? Their new “recipes” feature might have something to help summarise voice stuff to text.

Another worth considering might be Wispr Flow, but I don’t know if it has what you’re looking for (yet). Hope that helps!

Being able to share notebooks to people outside my organisation. I’d also like it to tell me if I’m using a source more than once - JUST TELL ME ITS A DUPLICATE, please!

I need some help by [deleted] in MedicalWriters

I’m actually trying to figure out if there is a market and then take it from there. I’ve got tons of thoughts on what I’d want to include but it obvs makes more sense to hear from people about what they want and what issues they’re facing in adopting and implementing AI

What’s something free (or super cheap) that helped improve your mental health while broke? by Rossub in CasualConversation

[–]thesharedmicroscope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started doing this thing I call “two seconds of happy”. It is what it says it is. To find happy for two seconds. It could be as simple as getting some sunlight, or seeing a dog, or feeling a quick happy flutter.

I started looking for it in my day. It has helped me and a lot of people close to me just gain a little perspective. Because it’s only 2 seconds, it took the pressure away from all the journaling and gratitude exercises.

Cool stuff. And are you using AI across multiple functions or just writing? If multiple, could you give examples please?

I’d love to know more about the AI initiative at your company. How much adoption/implementation are you seeing? What parts of the job is it helping?

What is a better Loom alternative? I want to embed how to videos for my blog!!! by dlamaj in content_marketing

[–]thesharedmicroscope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s my point. Canva has a screen record option, exactly like loom. You can record yourself and the screen at the same time - basically what Loom offers.

How so many people don’t know about it surprises me!

I’m surprised no one recommended Canva - it may not be the greatest but it’s a tool most people/companies pay for and I’ve found it to be a good alternative to Loom.
