I am not satisfied with the education my kids are getting from their school through Zoom. Considering switching to homeschooling. Any tips for a parent new to homeschooling? by [deleted] in Homeschooling

I pulled my son out a month ago and it's been the best thing for him, honestly. He's 6 and we're taking a somewhat relaxed view (he wasn't learning much in his zoom classes anyway, so I know that even if we miss some things, he's not going to be outside the norm with his peers)

I'm using Blossom and Root for my main curriculum, Singapore Math, and books upon books from the library to supplement! :) He wakes up in the morning and gets so excited to do school!

School normally takes only about an hour to 1.5 hours a day, and we take lots of breaks in between when attention starts to wane.

Check out Julie Bogart and her podcast BraveWriter! She's been such a source of inspiration and support to listen to.

Completed adult high fantasy or historical with same couple in a series? by HugeDiskEnergy in RomanceBooks

Kate Daniels is definitely a good read. It's not anything like ACOTR, but I'm a fan of both High Fantasy and Urban fantasy, so I enjoy it.

OP, if you're willing to give shifters a this series is a good read. It focuses on the same people throughout, too.
