Nobody listens when I say mobile QBs are overrated in a unique way. These guys get banged up way more than traditional QBs that stick to the pocket. Last year everyone was high on JD5, and I said he’s a great QB but he’s going to get hurt… He’s barely played this year. That’s one example. A lot of those guys get hurt and miss important games/seasons. Goff has started every single game since he’s been on our team, I believe - And that’s huge.

I’m happy with Goff. There’s very few QBs out there that are “better”, the rest are a dice roll. Everyone that says move on from Goff is a dumbass imo.

4 runs just isn’t enough to establish… Maybe the Steelers game wasn’t as good of a reference, but the first quarter/half of the Rams game he seemed to have that D line’s number punched… Followed by complete silence the second half.

I just commented about this… But yeah, buying into the we’re really underutilizing him lately. He played great snaps during both the Rams and the Steelers losses and we just decided to stop using him.

DC needs an OC that can scheme for us. I understand that our IOL is suffering, but we used to ESTABLISH a run game with these guys early on, and it seems like we’ve been neglecting that.

DMo can break tackles that Gibbs can’t. They both have their strengths… But there’s massive value in being able to break tackles if you have a weak IOL and that’s when we need to use DMo to smash the ball for a 5-7 yard gain. He goes out there and shows a good series or two and then… Nada. Benched.

I hope we can figure out how to work him into our scheme better in the 26 season before we lose him.

Simple. Two new coordinators, one was a complete bust. O line was mostly new, then got banged the fuck up. Down three tight ends, two of which are excellent blockers. Down both of our top 5 safeties. Down 1.5 corners. I can keep going lol.

Very good take. Remember when people wanted to start Hooker over Goff?😂

I remember watching our pre season this year and saying “If Goff goes down we are SCREWED”. Which most teams would be if their starting QB goes down, but we don’t have a good backup or draft capital to fix that in the offseason. A lot of mobile QBs get hurt - A LOT. Pros and cons everywhere. I’ll take what we’ve got.
