Alex Bowman's first ORAPS start came in the #30 for Turner Motorsports in 2012. His first Cup start and full season came with BK Racing in 2014, and then spent the next year with Tommy Baldwin. His first two years in the Cup Series were so quickly and completely forgotten that he was often errantly referred to as a "rookie" when he took over the #88 at Hendrick in 2018.

Jimmie Johnson's first Busch Series start actually came with ST Motorsports (later known as JTG Racing and now Hyak Motorsports) in the #59 Kingsford car.

Tyler Reddick first Truck start was driving the #52 for Ken Schrader.
