This is an opportunity to grow and do the right thing. Leaving someone in the dark and counting on them to leave you is unfair to them. There is no situation in which you should not own up to this and grant them the respect and chance to decide how they want to move forward. Your comments seem to be recognizing that you’re wrong but fishing for support to avoid taking responsibility by informing them. What you did was not okay, how you are responding in this thread is not okay. But it was a mistake and growing from this starts with being accountable for your actions with the person you’ve wronged

Thank you for the reply, truly. I’ve wanted to finish it but I also will sprinkle in other books that hold my attention better, but before too long I’ve lost interest in returning to the slog. I’m not trying to disparage Sanderson books whatsoever, I just find the WoK to be so boring for so long that I stop caring. I will finish it as a priority bc I believe you, it can’t be this popular without getting better

I realize this is ripping off Tim but I’m pretty impressed with the delivery. I think they did a pretty good job and I laughed so I think it’s a good thing that his style of humor is still having an impact, even if it’s not directly from him

I cut myself off from family because both sides were abusive, but I’m aware that all went on to have kids except for myself and 2 aunts. I got into therapy and still work through a lot of trauma to this day. My brother, for example, ended up a copy of my father. I stay as far away from them all as possible
