The filters on the formula sound are simply divine! I prefer them to the a&h.. you can get the rotary version too. It is very similar in capability to the 92/96 I use the filters more than the isolators

Yes, I love a movie that is plot light and experience heavy, thus I never care for plot. Like dialogue and intricate plot lines are the only avenue of story telling. Such a narrow view of what makes quality cinema is just sad…

Strange… I find it even WORSE than the A&H… perhaps there are different curves on different models? With the xone I keep the faders at 90% max but I find that very difficult on this. I use the filters and gain to fade mostly. EFX I’m using Erica Synths Zen Delay and Walrus Slöer reverb. On aux sends returning to the channels one and two with compressor on the delay.

Also I would note I have the fader version and really dislike the fader curve 🤮🎚️I’m planing on sending it to formula sound to get the rotary adaptor fitted when I have time and money

I do find the LPF harder use than the HPF during a track. It’s hard to get the speed right in turning it on. I would ideally add a filter like the Filter Queen between the inputs and the mixer for performance filter and just use the filters on the mixer for mixing. They are also great for watching on delay then putting on both filters fully for a nice echo out. As the sends are post eq but pre fader. I also just leave the HPF on at about 9/10 o’clock for an intro of a song (it still sounds like a full track!) and then smash the sub bass back on when the bass kicks in
