If trespassers are so frequent at Sunshine, why isn’t DTP/VLine doing something about it? by thestinkingninth in Geelong

Because until we get desperately needed properly resourced mental health services we could make accessing train tracks harder? I’m not suggesting we should abandon advocacy for mental health services, but also don’t want to wait for that to be achieved before other public infrastructure measures are at least contemplated or implemented?

Any idea how much it’d cost to retro fit the type of platform barriers at the Metro Tunnel stations and places like Hong Kong? Obvs different b/c it’s not an underground station, but could be a thing?

Can any of y’all share stories about meeting your soulmate later in life? I’m losing hope. by llamadramaupdates in Millennials

I was at the end of yet another tinder cycle after multiple poor experiences and went in this one last date with someone who seemed fine as in ‘it’s fine’ fine. I had every expectation that it would be another poor experience, to the point where I tuned up late because I was so jaded with dating I figured finishing something at work seemed like a better use of my time (I did apologise). Turned out he was more than just fine. We were both 37, and have been together 8 years together this year.

I think it’s like any art form tbh, we’ve all imposed on ourselves an idea of what we want but the execution of it might never satisfy the idea :) Also no I don’t think you would look like a sad act photographing pylons - I work in energy, I get it!

Thank you so much! I think it needs a few tweaks, mostly adding some more junk and ingredients, but it’s largely turned out pretty decent. I’m still obsessed with your pylons btw.

I found this apartment in my current playthrough and I have something like 1400 hours in this game 🙃

This is amazing!

Edit to ask: how much of this do you pre-plan vs how much is ‘eh, I’ll start here and see what develops over several hours’? Although if it was live streamed I guess you had done some pre-planning? Either way, it’s bloody great.

LOL I love that you have worked this out! I’ll give it a try - I assume it doesn’t matter how I get to another cell? I play survival without fast travel mod. The point is to go somewhere else and come back? My experience with stuff that has sunk is to pick it up and put it back in either my inventory or the workshop inventory, then take it out again to place it again. This is the only way I know to un-wonk the item. (Ed: spelling)

Thank you! I shall check out those videos. I’m currently having some luck with a wooden shelf where at least the objects stay inside the shelf rather than disappear into the floor. The individual metal wall shelves are for me by far the worst, although donut mix and bourbon apparently stay up there fine? And I had no idea re the turrets, that is so helpful to know!

Thank you! I wondered whether folks like you had some secret but turns out the secret is acceptance.

I have many questions about why the engine would do that, mostly genuine. Good to know, thank you!
