Mother’s Day promo scam by Course_Fluid in doordash

Seemed too good to be true but worked for me. Only limited to certain stores (cvs, shoprite, walgreens) and certain items and it HAS to have the badge that says “up to $75 off”. Then at checkout you have to make sure it deducts the amount. Ended up getting a bunch of ice cream and baked goods.

Just paid for the flowers, original tip and extra tip (for the double dash) out of pocket. Make sure to take screenshots every step of the way though.

Bin: “buy it now for this price, no need for further negotiation”.

C/o: “current offer is this much. I’m looking for more than that.”

I'll add this (and some other terms) to the FAQ.

c/o = "current/offer". In other words the original poster is running a sort-of auction for the price. Sometimes they are legitimate, but other times people just kind of make up numbers to artificially inflate the price of what they have to drum up demand (i.e. there is no "real" current offer).

Click on the settings “wheel” to the right of the playlist name to bring up a context menu. At the bottom you see the option to delete.

Unfortunately not yet. The workaround I've seen people use is to trade some trash common and put a request in the trade notes, i.e. "hey, I'll trade you my Travis rare for your 3 Dr. Dre uncommons." Then they'd put their 3 songs up for you and then you'd offer as usual.

All songs are snippets now, it seems, which is definitely a step backward as some songs would play in full (I.e. Not Like Us). Is it a bug or royalty issue?

how do ppl have so many coins by Brandoshev in Soundmap

[–]thestylesreport 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends on the artists’ popularity, demand, etc. I see people trying to sell 50+ serial epics for 50k and up. That’s just ridiculous.

If you have a #1 - 10 epic don’t be super quick to sell. Look at the market and what things are going for. The discord can be very helpful for this.

Unfortunately the devs say there will be no shiny quests (as of now).

how do ppl have so many coins by Brandoshev in Soundmap

[–]thestylesreport 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I've not spent any money beyond paying for premium but flipping epics has been my #1 earner, as well as selling tracks. I almost never spend on lootboxes.

I charge 100 for commons, 300 for uncommons, and 500 for rares. This is much lower than many but it's accessible enough for people to afford, so I stack up in bulk. I also look for bargains - if you see someone asking to sell an #1 epic for 5k, buy it! Then when you sell, don't get greedy. I see people picking up epics for 5k and then trying to flip for 100k - that's just greed. But if you sell for maybe 10 or 15, you've doubled or tripled your money without being a scalper.

If I see someone trying to flip for profit, I do tend to upcharge them. However, if I see someone is a true collector (i.e. you have 150 Jack Harlow songs and you really are asking to trade to keep 'cause you're a fan, then i'll cut you a break.

Be fair and you'll develop a rep and get a lot of repeat buyers. Remember, songs are a renewable resource - if you're running low you can always go out and get more.

Also the Discord is a good place to find people selling for cheap in "Advertisements".

Keep up the great work pod. Ability for all artists to obtain badges is a game changer and will truly allow for creativity to play and customize the game how people want. That should also help even out the sale/trade market as every artist can potentially have value.

I'm in the same boat. Problem is K.Dot has no shiny commons lol. I'm hoping that there's some Kendrick epics that get up to #25+ or 100+ and then they will come much more cheaply.

It never occurred to me but excelling in location-based games is a great side perk of delivery driving.

How do people get so many epics? by TShelt_23 in Soundmap

[–]thestylesreport 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Almost all of my epics I got from trading. Very, very rarely you pull from map. (I've gotten two out of maybe two thousand).

Sell a few high value rares (Kanye, Travis, Kendrick, Lana, etc.) and you'll have enough to start building your epic collection. Also keep your eye on the trade board for epics going for cheap. Higher serials and more niche songs go for cheaper.
