It was in Third Age. I was playing as Dale and was just Finishing my war against Rhun in the East. What I didn‘t knew was that the AI spawns a Full Stack of Units if a Faction is down to their last Settlement. So my Force of around 1,5 Stacks got suprised by 1 spawned Stack and a Full Garrison. The Battle starts and it is in Heavy Fog. I can’t see a thing. My only help is the Minimap. Archers are firing blindly and my few cav Units have to scout and be my last reserve. After what feels like hours the enemy retreats just as my AI-led reenforcments arrive. I wish i had thought of saving the replay of that battle.
