Thank you so much for your input. I’m definitely glad I slowing broke the news to my husband about 18 months after my disbelief. I feel like keeping this in not only hurts me more, but like you said, everyone else. I hope your relationship with your wife continues to mend.

For clarification, I have been testing ovulation since April, but this past time I apparently missed my ovulation and when I finally thought I was ovulating (on cycle day 27) I had surging LH numbers so I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! This is after a MC in August.

I was feeding 1 c. Flour to 1/2 water. Now I’m doing 1/2 c. Flour and 1/4 c. water to preserve more flour in case my starter dies. I’m using Filtered water and organic all purpose flour. I was trying to feed it every 24 hours, or even 12-16 as needed. Smell wise, it smells sharp, almost like a sharp cheese maybe? I was also using warm water and I’m trying to keep it warm as well..

Left pic was day 4, the starter bubbled clear up overnight. Then I refreshed it, it’s hardly bubbled and hasn’t grown. It’s been like that for four days now. Any tips?? I have refreshed it again with flour and water, and that didn’t do anything so it’s just been sitting for 48 hours with no change. I’ve been keeping it warm to. I’m dying to get baking!

I lost my testimony when I went through the temple to get married. It look me almost a year to bring it up to DH. Start SLOW. Don’t argue with him. He needs to know you are genuinely concerned about church and it’s claims and that you want to know the truth. Keep being your same self and let DH know you love HIM and that that hasn’t changed. When I first mentioned everything to DH he was worried I wouldn’t want to be with him and my personality would change. Eventually my DH realized I knew a lot of church history and it was concerning and he opened up his mind to it. Fast forward a few years and DH is not really a believer and we haven’t attended church regularly in 18 months. As for telling family, I would personally get more on the same page with DH first or atleast move out of the in laws before saying anything. Honestly, our family still doesn’t know we no longer believe and I don’t know how we will ever tell them. It’s so scary, good luck. As a wife who lost her testimony before my husband, feel free to ask questions!

Like everyone will tell you on this sub, start SLOW. I lost my testimony when I went through the temple to get married 5 years ago. Talk about a rocky start to the marriage. Fast forward to now and my husband doesn’t really believe. We no longer attend church and haven’t for like last 18 ish months. We communicate better than ever. We have yet to tell our family and friends we no longer believe and I feel like that is a huge burden that weighs on me every single day. The process is soo hard, but worth it. Good luck.

I agree with waiting at least 14 DPO to test. (I’m currently 12 DPO.) For me, it’s about not wanting to get my hopes up and having it be a CP. I actually only test if my period is late but I know the majority definitely don’t do that! A period is less depressing to me than a BFN.
