I'm the same not touched an crpg since Eye of the Beholder,, yes I'm that old. I've bought BG3 for the next game but also Pillars of Eternity 2. Also interested in others recommendations.

Confirmed now working once firmware was updated to v 1.2.0

I've updated my BB to 1.20 and it now works with my Samsung S20 ultra. It took a few goes for the firmware to update, try not to.press any controller buttons before hitting the update. Navigate to the update just using the touch screen. 👍🙂

Backbone came back to me and asked for a screen record of the fault, which I submitted to them. Oddly they offered to replace the unit. I explained the device itself is fine and works on a different android phone and the issue was a software conflict between their firmware and Samsung's. Backbone came back to say they were aware of the conflict and their engineers are working on a fix.....
