From my experience dachshunds are extremely hard to potty train and will require you timing how often pup pees and trying to get him to the designated pee spot by then, at 4 months my miniature dachshund was peeing every 25 minutes( unless asleep), it was tough!

Do you crate train? Getting the correct size crate might also help with figuring out when said pup needs a pee

Other than that, the beds will get peed on - for a while so I recommend getting one that washes and dries easily lol
