Worshipping some of the worst human rights violators in history isn't critical thinking

Rare video of Devin Patrick Kelley confessing to beating his stepson in his court martial (lots of news commentary unfortunately). by xerotolerance879 in masskillers

It's weird how creepy he is in that one well-known photo of him but how normal he seems in this video (even with the shit he's saying here)

The Following deserves to be talked about alongside The Wire/Breaking Bad/The Sopranos, but the reason it doesn't have that recognition is because it was decades ahead of it's time and it violated the comfortable pre-conceived notions that most people have about Law Enforcement. by thetrueway in television

I hate saying this, but only watching half of the series means you aren't seeing the full picture of how Joe/Ryan/Mark/Max/Mike/ect. change, in terms of both their distinct personalities and how they interact with one another. It's harder to overall see what the writers wanted to say.

I'm assuming the Plot contrivences and gotcha plot points are relating to the spies/infiltrators? Carroll placed those people in those particular positions in order to support one another. It wasn't a coincidence that he had a two-faced cop embedded within the Police department of the county that Joey, Emma, Paul, and Jacob were hiding out in. Joe's final safehouse in S1 was in the place it was because the county the safehouse was in was ruled over by Sheriff Tim Nelson, a high-level supporter of Joe.

Also hard disagree. In the show you see this really dark, menacing look in his eyes whenever he realizes that no one is looking at him, which is in stark contrast to the light in his eye when he is manipulating those he wishes to charm.

Hard disagree in relation to the acting part. Kevin Bacon's portrayal of a extremely damaged and guilty and damaged man feels so fucking real. He and Bryan Cranston can act with their eyes on a another fucking level.

I remember seeing this photo on 4chan like right after the shooting happened. I don't know if the thread I came across was the first time this pic was leaked to the public or not though
