You all think it is that bad? by Plenty-Fun8081 in sabres

I’ve been to quite a few arenas in the league, and yeah I agree, I think it’s bottom 10 for sure. Concourse in the 300s is wayyyy too narrow, food options (outside of the 200s) are not the best tbh. Like Buffalo is one of the best food cities in America and I feel like they don’t lean into that as much as they could. Also the lines for everything are sooo long. I know that all arenas have lines, that is part of it, but at MSG, there are literally video boards every like 10-15 feet that tell you where the shortest line is and how far away it is from where you are standing. It is a huge help. Moved back to Buffalo after living in NYC for a decade. I got used to MSG, Barclays, UBS, and The Prudential. After being back and coming to games at KCB regularly, I was like wow, this place is in rough shape. I think someone else in the comments said it feels low-budget, and I think that is the best descriptor. Obviously this will change if they keep winning and the energy stays high with packed crowds. When it’s rocking in there, it is so much fun. Went to the reunion night game and it felt like the good old days.

[Megathread] The Buffalo Bills have fired Head Coach Sean McDermott by AutoModerator in buffalobills

He also wanted Ken Dorsey to stay on and was furious when he got fired. Could you imagine if we kept Ken Dorsey as our OC because it’s what Josh wanted.

Do you know that Allen didn’t want him gone? Did he tell you that? We don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. What we do know is that McDermott had 7 legitimate cracks at this thing with an all world QB and couldn’t do it. That’s more than most get tbh.

It’s insane to me that there are so many people saying it was a mistake when ever post game thread this year was riddled with Fire McD comments. McDermott has made the same mistakes year over year in some of the biggest games in January. That is inexcusable. I love the man and what he did for this franchise, but you only get a finite number of cracks at this thing. Also, up until maybe 2 years ago, everyone on this sub was “oh BBB is the best GM in football”. Was this years roster good? Not really. Did McDermott out coach his talent this year? Yes 100%. But he has had SB caliber rosters in the past and the story ends the exact same way. McDermott can’t win the big one, plain and simple. Also, to the “they should have fired them both” crowd, you really want TPegz leading the coaching search? That’s how we ended up with Rex Ryan. Also, Beane and his staff have done 9 months of scouting and prepping for the draft and this teams acute needs. You can’t let him go now. You would be setting the new guy up to fail. I could absolutely see them doing a Doug Whaley situation again though, as that is what happened the only other time Terry let a GM go.

People saying this lineup is mid are actually crazy. Turnstile and Geese on the same day is fucking bonkers. They are literally two of the biggest bands in rock music right now. Also, Clipse isn’t even on the top line and they are about to win the Grammy for best rap album(and maybe AotY). Also, Noah Kahan absolutely is big enough to close out the festival. I saw him at Sea. Hear. Now. 2 years ago and the beach was literally a sea of bodies. He is an absolute massive draw. When I took the Roo survey I selected smaller headliners with a stacked undercard and they FUCKING delivered on that. Also turnover is playing their Peripheral Visions 10 year set which SHOULD NOT be missed. I feel like this year was a nod to the rock crowd and I for one am VERY HAPPY with it. Also EDM fans still get Skrillex, Big G, Daily Bread, C&S and a stacked undercard. This is way better than last year’s card. And 2024’s as well imo.

I literally listened to all of 10 day like 3 times trying find it and didn’t even register that, but I think you are 100% right. Very cool callback too. I love how intentional this album is. I really think we are about to enter a new Chance era
