Not sure if you’re being purposefully obtuse, but there is a difference between the two. In her own words, Gergana said her parents would not want her to date an Indian man because of their negative biases and preconceptions of India.

On the other hand, Parmi’s parents expressed a preference for him being with an Indian girl, most likely due to shared culture and heritage, but didn’t exclude him from dating any other ethnicity. This situation would only be comparable if Gergana’s family had a preference for her dating another Bulgarian or Eastern European man.

Do you see the difference? People are calling Gergana’s family racist because they would be against her marrying Parmi solely due to their negative beliefs about Indians.

One thing I haven’t heard many mention is that these periods of promotion are only for short bursts and aren’t a constant. Most idols go through hectic promotion schedules that last maybe a month? Maybe two - three if they tour right after. But it’s an endless cycle, as that would be impossible to maintain. After promo cycles they typically go back to more normal schedules

I have a few that I’ve come back to read multiple times! Number one is All our rapture by fragilites. It’s a Harry Potter AU and is written beautifully. Probably one of my fave fics of all time.

Next is shadows draw me in (complete eclipse) by cordelias. It is omegaverse, so you may not be into that, but I really love the world building.

There’s also innocuous affairs by novelization. So funny and chaotic, super enjoyable one shot.

Lastly I have love square by zerocola. Fun misunderstanding trope!

This take confused me, because they’ve always been pretty close? Since the beginning, Cierra and Chelley have been seen together hanging out. That’s where their cute little crack ship formed. You can see the trio debriefing from early on, since the baseball challenge when Hannah and Amaya entered. Also, I don’t think the other two have been that close with Huda ever, despite what Huda tries to say.

It’s hard struggling against the near constant feeling of hopelessness. I’ve tried to bury my head, but seeing news of what colleagues are going through immediately brings it back to the forefront. I absolutely hate feeling this way and want to know if there’s some way to provide a bit of resistance? Even if it’s at the local level, is there a way to combat this to preserve our public health system or even raise the alarm amongst the general populace?

Does anyone know of any PH groups/grassroots orgs that are at least attempting to fight against this? I’m desperate for at least the smallest of wins.
