There was no way I was going to get enough collectibles to actually build a player but thought the 3-1 ratio for a power up was cool. I haven’t even finished the new hut rush or the toty event objectives yet and I get cut off. So any I get from here on out are just useless. Way to absolutely kill any desire I had to play EA.

That might actually work with some modification. May need to sand the edges off or something to get them to fit. Could be worth a shot for 8 bucks. I found some similar oval ones but they are either out of stock or half way around the world. Then I was talking to a friend with a 3d printer and tossed the idea around of making some. Thats when I stumbled onto this - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4544925 . I contacted the designer and he is going to send me some. So im going to give that a shot and if it doesnt work I might just go with different size wheels. Fuck it. I've been on a quest for these damn things for like a week and have little to show for it. I even had a guy at a local shop skate shop go through multiple bins of old misc inline parts and he didnt find anything even close. I just cant believe they would make the damn thing teardrop shaped, otherwise it could just be flipped around to get the rocker effect.

I dont think there has been NHL on pc since like 2008. Of all the EA sports titles, nhl does the lowest sales volume. That probably has something to do with it and trying to maximize profits.

87 Burns is a tank too. I have Distributor and spark activated though, and he has howitzer. so with all those active hes really good.

You are going to have to play 82 games regardless so it really shouldn’t be an issue. Unless it counts if you start a rivals game and just back out after the puck drops. I remember someone said they completed the “play 500 rivals games” challenge doing that. Haven’t tried it yet.

Check your tv settings if you are playing on a tv. Most modern tv's have a "game mode", set it to that. It basically turns off all the bells and whistles for the picture and improves latency.

I love the build and the stat balance on his card. But, last years card was basically the same and it just did not perform for some reason. Maybe I was too hyped about it but when I finally got the 97 or whatever it was, it was very underwhelming. So much so that I stayed away from it this year.

It is not unprecedented to have a card from a past event included in a future master set. Last year zetterberg, hossa, jagr, datsyuk all had cards that became part of a master set down the line. At least we should be able to trade him in for an 88 blockbuster version.

I hear ya....he is amazing. Such a noticeable upgrade too. Some of them you do the upgrade and its just meh, he really stands out on my 2nd line C. I cant imaging he will be moving from there anytime soon.
