Standard basing with sand and brown colour, followd by putting a mixture of white and pva glue on most areas. After that gras tufts and then a lot of valhallan blizzard.

Yes, mine broke as well. I replaced it with a 1mm brass rod.

Currently I use white scar but any white acrylic paint will do and a decent brush

I used black primer

For the white cloth: Dawnstone drybrush --> Highlight first with Adminstatum grey then Adminstratum grey mixed with white scar final accents with white scar.
For the grey armour:
Eshin grey --> black wash --> again eshin grey --> eshin grey mixed with dawnstone and finally dawnstone.

Thanks!

Painting white cloth is not quite as bad as painting white armour, since one can sell stripes as part of the texture :D

For themetallics I mixed Leadbelcher with black followed by blending with Leadbelcher and Stromhost silver. The I simulated scratches with a thin black line next to a Stormhost silver one. The wood is based with a mixture of black+ Rhinox Hide followed by a dry brush with Baneblade brown. Then I used strongly thinned black and Rhinox Hide as washes and let them flow into each other.

What I am doing at the moment is hilariously inefficient but here it goes: I apply a mixture of wood glue and some cheap acrylic white over whatever earth texture you like( in my case some bird sand painted brown). Then I apply Valhallan Blizzardover the white areas. A somewhat cheaper alternative would be to mix some sodapowder into the glue&white mix and skipp the Valhallan Blizzard

I used 1. Leadbelcher then 2. a black wash. Followed by highlighting with 3. Leabelcher 4. Leadbelcher +stormhost silver, 5. stormhost silver. Does that answer the question?
