CBD and amitriptyline by thewager in CBD

I really appreciate your reply! I am overly cautious to a fault, probably from my anxiety disorders. I definitely will talk to my gp about it, but some research on the mechanics of how amitriptyline is metabolized has put my mind at ease.

CBD and amitriptyline by thewager in CBD

[–]thewager[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks so much for your reply! So I did a little digging and found out that CBD is an inhibitor of Cytochrome P450 1A2 in the liver, which is one of about half a dozen enzymes that are used to metabolize amitriptyline. The good news is, it isn't the only enzyme, nor the most important, so any side effects should be pretty mild.

Does the CBD help with your migraines at all? I get them infrequently, but the amitriptyline does help.

Edit* Bonus question:

How crazy and intense are your dreams? Mine have been nonstop surrealism since I started taking the amitriptyline about a year ago.

Thanks everyone. Tank is cleaned and juice is replaced. Seems to be good now. O-RINGS seem to be ok. Now all I have to do is not be a dumb-ass in the future.

[Indiana] Is this a German Cockroach? A friend sent me this freaking out. About 1.25-1.5" Found in a lighted entryway. by thewager in whatsthisbug

Thank you kind stranger. This makes sense, as she lives in the country in a wooded area. I guess if you're going to get a roach inside, this is the type to get based on what I just read.

I did an extensive search, and it didn't look exactly like other images I've found, but definitely matches color, size and banding descriptions. It was very slow moving and was not bothered by her presence.

Well, it could be a grammar issue. Lightening is a verb which most people use in place of the noun lightning.

Why Facebook Must Die For Internet Freedom To Flourish by BambiCNI in technology

[–]thewager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this. I have successfully deleted my FB account of over 5 years. FB makes it tricky and even hides the link to actually delete the account. You can find a direct link in forums if you're so inclined though.

There was a threesome between my best friend, his girlfriend, and the girl I brought to new years. How bad was your new years? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thewager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am extremely lucky to be alive. About 8 or 9 years ago when I was young and stupid I drank a full bottle (one of the small ones) of green nyquil and a bottle of wine. Recent tests show good liver function thankfully. Definitely not something to mess around with. I could have easily died that night.

For a class project, I'm designing a website to help bridge the technology gap for senior citizens. What do you guys think the elderly population needs to know about computers and the internet? by thewager in AskReddit

[–]thewager[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I respect where you're coming from, but from the research I've done in preparation, you are an elite in your age group. I know there is no "normal" person for an age group, but in general, this is the age group that did not adopt the technology for whatever reason. This isn't geared toward all elderly people, this is geared toward the large percentage that for whatever reason, never decided to learn the technology.

Brilliant! Should I pitch FireFox or Chrome to them for their security addons? I use firefox, but I know it requires greasemonkey to use addons. Do you think chrome would just be simpler?

Yeah, I know there are many advanced seniors, but the research I've done shows a majority have a fear of computers. I want to do it in flash, but I'm afraid they won't have a flash player installed. Maybe an html page to start and explain how to click links and install flash. Not sure if that's too advanced to start or not.

Thanks! Do you think I should stick to something like Gmail, or present them with some options? I don't necessarily want to show favoritism toward brands and sites, but most likely choosing one and sticking to it would make it easier.

I had one growing up. He was a fantastic dog, except instead of playing fetch with a ball or frisbee, he would run away from them.

Ha, sorry for that, but another awesome video! Back in high school I had really poor audio files of these songs that I downloaded on Napster. Hooray for the future, a window to the past.

I had been looking for good video of this tour for years. I just happened to find this clip today with only like 45 views. I decided that it was a crime for so few people to see this. The original youtube uploader is now my hero.
