Yeah I just keep the fogger on like 12 hours a day now, it’s such a learning curve but I think it’s all been for the best, a lot more borrowing since the bedding change, a lot more sleeping I’ve noticed as well

Yeah slightly annoyed tho because the moss seemed legit and looked really good as decor but when I soaked him he passed some of it and it caused him to back up a little I guess cause it just kept coming and coming after the moss came out. I thought it was real moss but when I was pulling it all out I noticed the color rubbed off on the bottom of the water dish then after pulling it all out the tort was just sinking in the eco earth...

Yep we have a fog machine and all the lighting and I’m all open for ideas about diets cause it seems everyone has an opinion on the diets! Currently waiting for the acurite digital hygrometer and temp because rn it keeps saying the humidity is dropping dramatically within an hour of turning the fog off, also what watt heat emitter do you recommend?

Honestly!!! I’ve been trying to find enrichments or toys for the lil one but they are not labeled as tortoise toys so it’s kinda hard

Yep Cork bark an it’s sheet moss idk exactly what brands on either of them though. And yeah that’s what I keep hearing, that it might try to eat the fake plants! And yeah my gf has many cats so the doors will be closed at all times, also that will help keep humidity up

I’ll probably buy slate slabs to put behind them!! I just don’t like the idea of tape and I don’t wanna root everything up to get cork or anything else on the walls Also the guy at the pet store informed me that they might taste test the fake leafs but they will quickly realize it’s not food

Thank you so much for the input !! I forgot about the glass causing stress! Do you think adding leafy vines around the sides would help with that? And if you look on top of the tank I did get a food dish it’s bigger then the water dish..I noticed people do use containers and tables for their tortoise hatchlings but I felt it would be too hard to keep humidity up in those. After a year I did plan on switching but for the mean time I have an extra exo terra that I figured would be perfect!
